Champagne corks were popped recently to celebrate the successful installation of the 100th Foltex laundry machine by Laundryquip.
Brislington Laundry of Bristol took possession of a brand-new Foltex Flexfold LP330 flatwork folding machine to marry up with used, Lapauw 1200 gas-heated ironer, also supplied by the firm.
Scaling up from the return-feed ironing machines that the business had so long relied upon, Kathir Kathirchelvan, the managing director of Brislington Laundry, was looking forward to putting the new ironing-line through its paces and was already reporting outputs of over 300 sheets and 200 duvet-covers per hours with three operators.
Capable of highly productive, accurate folding of both large and small pieces, this folder and ironer unit is the perfect combination for this moderately small laundry business with big ambitions.
